Biogreen Energy Products was established in 2001 and is the only company supplying rapeseed products to the Irish animal feed market.
All production is carried out in the sunny southeast at our purpose built mill based at The Leap, Adamstown, Co. Wexford.
Biogreen Pure R Gold is a renewable, native source of high quality non-GM rapeseed oil; naturally cold pressed. This method produces high quality minimally processed fresh rapeseed oil and expeller cake suitable for inclusion in animal feed diets.
Pure R Gold for Pigs & Ruminants
Rapeseed oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, particularly oleic acid, and has a better fatty acid profile than soyabean oil as it has a favourable omega-3 to omega-6 ratio which reduces the need to supplement feed with medium chain fatty acids. Pure R Gold is filtered to 10 microns which removes the need for agitation or heating. It also has the benefit of being a good lubricant in feed presses. A large scale Irish commercial pig trial conducted by an independent third party resulted in 6% better feed conversion rate.
Pure R Gold for Horses
As part of an equine diet the benefits are unrivalled. Rapeseed oil naturally contains essential fatty acids, omegas 3, 6 and Vitamin E. When fed as part of a balanced diet rapeseed oil produces an excellent coat, aids digestion, reduces the risk of colic, promotes relief from gastric ulcers, maintains and conditions, aids fertility and is an excellent form of non heating energy.
Pure R Gold for Dogs
This light palatable oil promotes a healthy coat, improves digestion, conditions and maintains and gives relief from arthritis. Rapeseed oil can also be used as an external application to reduce itching caused by skin conditions.
